A two day workshop designed to provide you with knowledge and practical experience in managing adult trauma stemming from attachment disorders in childhood. Background information on attachment disorders and relevant theories will be provided and presented in regard to adult conditions typically seen in clinical practise. The program will provide participants with useful best-practise evidence based tools and techniques for use in their own practise.
Program Outline
Day 1:- Attachment disorders in childhood, theory and diagnosis, differing methods of identification & classification, measurement.
Day 2:- Anxiety disorders, panic attacks & agoraphobia, differential diagnosis, substance abuse, violence, relationship problems, trust issues, managing change.* Management tools, techniques and therapy maps will be provided for use in the practical segments and workshop activities.
